Popular Construction-Regulatory-Warning Signage

We are not responsible for any use, or misuse, of the information within these pages.  Sizes and use of signage noted represent common practice in our region.  Temporary traffic control signage sizes noted are for short term barricade or portable stand mount.  Sign images are representative of the actual sign, which may vary in proportion, letter height or layout.  No traffic control equipment should be placed in the public right of way without approval of the managing agency.  Design and placement of permanent traffic control signage should be done by a licensed traffic engineer.  Further information and guidance regarding the use of permanent or temporary traffic control can be found in the Federal Department of Highways Manual of Uniform Traffic Controls MUTCD.
